Monitoring of the Construction, Commissioning and Testing phase of the wind farms

WINDFOR provides technical assistance for an independent assessment of the construction progress, monitoring, in particular, the overall organization of the construction site, the compliance with the requirements, prescriptions and Standards (also from the health and safety point of view), the technical progress of civil and electromechanical works, the accounting progress of the expenses, the testing phase of the wind farm equipment, the existence of technical conditions for the “Take Over” of the wind farm and the start of the commercial operation and the compliance with the EHS Guidelines (Equator Principles).

The technical assistance services may include:

  • On-site checks on the general organization of the yard
  • On-site checks on the compliance with the requirements, prescriptions and Standards (also from the health and safety point of view)
  • On-site checks on the technical progress of the civil works
  • On-site checks on the technical progress of the electromechanical works
  • Analysis of the results of the test performed on building materials
  • Checks on the leading of  waste material to authorized landfill
  • Accounting progress of supply and expenses
  • Audits at the factory for checking the progress of deliveries
  • Check bills of lading and shipping post
  • Attendance at the test on site performed for the electromechanical works and assessment
  • Assessment of the “Commissioning” and “Trial-test” activities
  • Checking the contents of any “punch list” and the successful implementation of corrective measures
  • Checks on the operation of the wind turbine SCADA system and of the entire wind farm
  • Assessment of the existence of the conditions for the Take Over
  • Checks on the compliance with requirements and prescriptions for the start of the commercial operation of the wind farm
  • Checks on the compliance of the works with the requirements of EHS Guidelines (Equator Principles)
  • Independent assessment of the actual costs of the Project ( including overrun costs)
